I promised myself that I was going to workout and be the fit mom. My pregnancy was going well, and soon as I got out of the first trimester, I was going to workout. I planned a little Fat Tuesday for myself. I pigged out for the last time. The next day I went in to labor.
I swear that’s how it happened. Or, at least, that’s what it seemed like. I kept promising myself I’d workout for 9 months and before I knew it I was headed home with my son.
